Privacy & cookies
Last updated 17 September 2026. This notice explains what happens to your information when you use this site or get in touch, and what the cookies do.
Who we are
SEO Wolves is a trading name of Vishnu Prasad, based in Quinton, Birmingham, United Kingdom. For anything about your data, email hello@seowolves.co.uk or call 07342 732303. We are the data controller for the information described here.
What we collect, and why
When you use the enquiry form. The form sends what you typed to this website’s own server, which emails it to us and keeps a copy in a file on the hosting account as a backup in case the email fails. That means your name, email, phone if you gave one, business, trade, area, the option you picked and any notes. We also record the time, the page you sent it from and your IP address, which is what lets us block spam. We use it to answer you and to carry out any work you ask for. The box you tick is your consent for us to reply.
If you call, WhatsApp or email us directly, we receive whatever is in that message and use it the same way.
When you browse. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics gives us aggregate statistics: which pages are read, roughly where visitors are, and which links work. We do not use it to identify individuals, and IP addresses are anonymised.
Cookies
No analytics or marketing cookies are set until you press “Accept analytics” on the banner. Choosing “Reject” loads nothing, and your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage so we do not ask again. You can clear that at any time in your browser settings.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors so visits can be counted | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_<id> | Google Analytics | Keeps session state for the same purpose | Up to 2 years |
| sw-cookie-consent | This site | Remembers your accept or reject choice (local storage, not a cookie sent to us) | Until cleared |
Our lawful bases
- Legitimate interests — replying to an enquiry you sent us, and keeping records of work we carried out.
- Consent — analytics cookies, which you can accept or refuse, and withdraw by clearing site data.
- Contract — where you become a client, the information needed to do the work and invoice for it.
- Legal obligation — keeping accounting records for the period HMRC requires.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work — including the backup copy on the server — are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for six years after the last piece of work, because tax law requires it. Analytics data is retained by Google under the retention period set in the property.
Who else sees it
Our email and phone providers, in the course of carrying messages; Google, for analytics if you accepted it; and our accountant for invoices. Where a provider processes data outside the UK, it does so under the safeguards their terms provide. We do not sell your information and we do not add you to a marketing list without asking.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our use of it, or ask us to restrict it. Email hello@seowolves.co.uk and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
